About IQMeter

IQMeter is made by one person — an enthusiast who has been into puzzles and intelligence tests for a long time. I have taken plenty of them and kept running into one of two things: either “find out your IQ in five questions”, or a request to pay before the very first task. I wanted to build a test that is worth your time: proper tasks, clear rules and no sign-up.

How the test works

• 40 tasks drawn from a bank of 400+ questions: Raven-style matrices, number sequences, analogies, classification, logic, arithmetic and anagrams.
• About 30 minutes. Each retake gives you a new set of questions.
• The score uses the standard IQ scale: mean 100, standard deviation 15.
• Taking the test is free. The full result, PDF certificate and recommendations unlock after a one-time payment — no subscriptions.

What the test is not

It is not a clinical assessment and does not replace a visit to a psychologist. An online test shows how you handle a certain kind of task on a particular day, and plenty affects the result: how well you slept, whether you rushed, whether you were distracted.
